South African Macadamia Nuts production increased by 12.6% year-on-year, but excessive precipitation has affected the quality

According to a report released by the South African Magnolia Growers Association (SAMAC), the production of magnolia in South Africa in 2023 was 77,532 tons, an increase of 8,692 tons (12.6%) from 68,840 tons in 2022. South Africa continues to maintain its position as the world's largest producer of macadamia nuts and plays a significant role in the global macadamia nut market. Despite facing various challenges such as weather, pests, diseases, and economic instability, South African macadamia growers continue to demonstrate their resilience and dedication to producing high-quality products.
